The first of many of ACHA’s residential projects for the former director of the Museum of the Moving Image and her philosopher husband, the apartment overlooks Central Park. The apartment in the pre-war Turin building originally consisted of small rooms connected by a long dark corridor. In its design, ACHA opened the rooms into an enfilade configuration, bringing light and fluidity to every part of the apartment. The enfilade connecting private rooms allows for each room to be closed, or opened to one another, as well as to the park views along its length.
